BAND ALUMNI DINNER REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Open to all former Band members and their guest
Thank you for joining the All-Band Alumni Reunion Dinner. We look forward to welcoming you and your guest. Here are a few details for you, before you to proceed to the link to register you and your guest for the dinner, with payment instructions included.
- The Band reunion dinner will be held at the Desmond Hotel, located at One Liberty Boulevard, Malvern, PA 19355. Hotel rooms at the Desmond are available. Other blocks of rooms for the weekend are also available at three other hotels within 2-3 blocks of the Desmond. They are Homewood Suites, Courtyard at Marriott, and Holiday Inn Express. The attached Hotel Reservation Information page provides all of the details you need to reserve your hotel room. MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS EARLY!
- The price per person for the evening is $58.00. Credit card or Paypal may be used. Registration is through the Medenbach Memorial Foundation. Please follow the prompts on the website to register on the Events page of the website. SEATING IS LIMITED FOR THE BAND DINNER, SO PLEASE PLAN TO REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
- It will be a cash bar, which will be open throughout the evening.
- The schedule for the evening is as follows:
5:00 – 6:45 PM Sign-in at the registration table and proceed to cocktail party (cash bar), with complimentary crudités & assorted dipping sauces as well as hummus & dips with breadsticks, warm pita, seeded flatbreads, crackers and sliced baguettes served with assorted dips of artichoke, tomato and basil salsa, guacamole, hummus and mint-cucumber.
6:45 – 9:00 PM Seating for dinner, including a welcome to the event, brief
program, invocation, buffet meal and served dessert.
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM After-dinner music and conversation. The Alma Mater and
TAPS will close the evening.
- Cocktail attire for the evening is requested – dressy-not-formal for ladies and coat & tie for gentlemen.
- Music throughout the evening will be provided by Band musicians (live and recorded).
- A Medenbach Memorial Foundation backdrop will be set up for photos for selfies of you and your classmates.
- Since you will already be in town for the Band Dinner, why not make a weekend of it and stay for the Medenbach Memorial Foundation party of the following evening? It is a fun time, and it will give you the chance to make more memories and meet new friends with VF Alumni. You might even get to see your friends from the Corps!
