Support the MMF

The Medenbach Memorial Foundation is dedicated to you – the Alumni, friends, and family – of Valley Forge Military Academy and College.  We are an organization to promote renewing friendships, sharing memories, and finding new ways to connect and strengthen the ties that bind us all together.

But, we need your help to be successful!  We can’t do it alone, so we ask that you consider supporting the MMF.  And, we have a number of suggestions for ways to do just that!  Time, treasure and talent all contribute to successful organizations.

• Join the Medenbach Memorial Foundation!  Becoming a member is free and easy.  It is the first step to staying in touch and letting us know how to contact you to let you know of upcoming events and provide help in locating old friends and classmates.  Just click on the membership tab for instructions.
• Attend an event!  We hold a big annual get-together in April that celebrates the anniversary of our creation.  For 2025, we will be meeting at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern, conveniently located right off of Route 202 and Route 29.  More information about the event, including how to register, reserving a hotel room if needed at a discounted rate, information about attire and what to expect, and after-party information either at the hotel or across the street at Chickie and Pete’s is available by clicking on the Upcoming Events tab.
• Help us in forming Company Area Formations where you live and/or work!  Many Alumni and friends live outside of the immediate Philadelphia region, so we are interested in forming and hosting group get-togetherss in different parts of the country (and the world!) to make that happen.  A good start is by contacting one of the MMF directors to let us know of your interest and willingness to get started in your area.

• Join a MMF committee!  We have committees for Events, Finance, and Governance.  If you are interested in helping us to strengthen the Foundation and improve how we serve you, let us know.
• Make a tax-deductible contribution!  Many of you like to make end-of-year charitable contributions before getting to work on tax returns.  The Medenbach Memorial Foundation would benefit from your support by helping us in our mission to support alumni and friends in time of need as well as help us cover the annual expenses that come with maintaining a charitable non-profit organization.  You can send your donation to the MMF post office box included on the home page, Or CLICK HERE TO DONATE ONLINE.
• Buy some merch!  We have an on-line store that offers some very nice items for sale.  Perhaps a tee-shirt or polo shirt to wear at an event or out to dinner , a Christmas tree ornament, a set of whiskey or beer glasses to enjoy your favorite libation, or a tie with the MMF logo.  They all make great birthday or holiday gifts!
• Be a sponsor!  Each year, we have benefited from targeted contributions to support our activities.  Sponsors for an event can help reduce ticket costs to keep activities affordable, offset the Foundation’s operating costs, and promote upcoming activities.  Contact our any of our Directors to see what fits your interests and our needs for sponsorship.
• Connect with your friends and fellow Alumni and invite others to participate! Our membership page lists individuals who have already joined, so it is a great way to encourage others who are not listed.  Please spread the word about the organization and let everyone know that they are welcome to join us.
